The dot is in the wrong place

Donde relies on your iPhone's compass, which metal, magnets and electronics nearby can throw off. Move away from them and wave your phone in a figure-eight to recalibrate. If location access is off, Donde uses magnetic north instead of true north, which can be off by several degrees depending on where you are.

It's showing directions from the wrong place

Donde uses your current location when location access is on. If it's off, it starts from San Francisco. Turn it on in Settings › Donde › Location, or tap the search bar, choose From Location and pick your city.

I see a dark sky instead of my camera

Camera access is off. Turn it on in Settings › Donde › Camera. Donde never records or saves anything from the camera.

What do “Through Earth” and “Horizon” mean?

Through Earth points along the straight line through the planet, so faraway cities are below your feet. Horizon points along the ground toward the city's compass direction.
