Donde Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
Donde points you toward cities around the world. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.
What Donde uses
- Location. With your permission, Donde reads your device's location to work out the direction and distance to the cities you choose. That calculation happens on your device. To show the name of your current city, Donde asks Apple's geocoding service to turn your coordinates into a place name. Apple handles that request under Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Camera. With your permission, Donde shows the live camera view behind its on-screen overlay. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
- Motion sensors. Donde reads your device's orientation to know where it is pointing. This stays on your device.
- City search. Searches you type are sent to Apple Maps to find matching places, under Apple's Privacy Policy.
What Donde does not do
- It has no accounts and no sign-in.
- It doesn't collect, store or share personal data on any server run by the developer. There isn't one.
- It doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- It doesn't sell data.
Donde stores one setting on your device: whether you've seen the welcome screen. Deleting the app removes it.
Your choices
You can turn location or camera access on or off at any time in Settings › Donde. Without location, you can still choose a starting city by hand. Without the camera, Donde shows a simulated sky instead.
Children
Donde doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
